Drywall Recycling

Gypsum Wallboard Recycling Made Easy

For over 14 years USA Gypsum has been improving methods of collecting and recycling gypsum wallboard. Whether you call it Gypsum Board, Wallboard, Sheetrock, or most often called Drywall, USA Gypsum recycles it. During 2011 we served over 150 different customers' drywall recycling needs for over 30,000 total tons from 9 states.

Wherever drywall scrap is generated in the Mid-Atlantic, North East or New England States, USA Gypsum has developed a variety of services and network of collection points that can cost effectively recycle your drywall scraps.

IT All Starts Here! Drywall is typically installed in a short amount of time during construction and the drywall waste is generated from cut outs and trimmings. The average waste factor is 20% of wallboard shipped to the job site.
